Nat Center is The Printed Pony
Hey, I’m Nat (they/them) an LA-based Illustrator and Risographer. I first fell in love with Riso printing working at zine fests and print fairs and printing my own work. Through its vibrancy and quirky misregistration, I learned to honor imperfections and the endless possibilities of color. I find inspiration for my illustration work in flora, fauna, food, positivity, and the power of cuteness.
I have a diverse background in printmaking collaborating and teaching a variety of methods in academic and community art spaces. These jobs inspired me to develop Riso resources and color tests with the aim to demystify the medium and make it more approachable to my students and clients.
