Risograph printed in 4 striking colors: Flo Pink, Yellow, Aqua, Blue on white paper. This is part of my CMYK series, where I sub the traditional Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, and Black for a multitude of fun colors from the Riso universe. In this case, Flo pink was subbed for magenta, Cyan was subbed for Aqua, and Blue was subbed for Black.
“Riso will never be perfect but frankly neither will I” is my printing philosophy.
The print you will receive may feature misregistration (colors not lining up) and/or tire marks (small horizontal lines in the bottom center of some works). These are two unavoidable factors with Riso printing. I take preventative measures during my print production process to decrease their appearance. For examples of what that may look like scroll to the bottom of THIS PAGE and learn more.
I will always prioritize sending out the most perfect picks of what I have in stock at the moment but accept that not every Riso print will be perfect- just like any of us.
