Inked Pony
This print is based on a workshop that’s a favorite of mine to teach! Each participant gets a yellow pony to draw on top of using analog mediums, yellow is light enough that it isn’t picked up by the riso while using the scanner bed. Each student tests out master making analog and then digital by printing out the pink pony, seeing how the two colors look overlaid. Inspired by multiple different styles of tattooing, this is one badass horsey.
Featured on KTLA for Pride month of 2024.
11 x 17 in,
Risograph printed in 4 striking colors: Flo Pink, and Kelly Green,
“Riso will never be perfect but frankly neither will I” is my printing philosophy.
The print you will receive may feature misregistration (colors not lining up) and/or tire marks (small horizontal lines in the bottom center of some works). These are two unavoidable factors with Riso printing. I take preventative measures during my print production process to decrease their appearance. For examples of what that may look like scroll to the bottom of THIS PAGE and learn more.
I will always prioritize sending out the most perfect picks of what I have in stock at the moment but accept that not every Riso print will be perfect- just like any of us.
Shipped in a stay-flat mailer, I ship orders out once a week. Email shopprintedpony@gmail.com for any assistance with your order.
