Risograph printed in 2 striking colors: Red, and Kelly Green on shimmer pearl paper, this unique cardstock catches the light and gives this print a glittery sheen like a plastic bag you’d get from the corner store. This paper is really expensive and a nightmare to print with hence why it is 5 dollars more than any other print of similar size.
“Riso will never be perfect but frankly neither will I” is my printing philosophy.
The print you will receive may feature misregistration (colors not lining up) and/or tire marks (small horizontal lines in the bottom center of some works). These are two unavoidable factors with Riso printing. I take preventative measures during my print production process to decrease the appearance of them. I will always prioritize sending out the most perfect picks of what I have in stock at the moment but accept that not every Riso print will be perfect- just like any of us.
